Coordination of Construction and Electrical Contract Tenders

Preparation of tender documents for construction contracts (electrical and civil works)
Selection of prospective tenderers
Undertaking tender process on behalf of Principal
Assessment of tenders
Recommendations and reporting to Principal on Tenders
Award of Contracts including preparation of Instruments of Agreement
Monitoring project progress including assessment, reporting, and recommendation for payment of contractors’ progress claims

Supervision of Construction and Electrical Contracts

This role involves the appointment of a Superintending officer as defined under Standard Conditions of Construction Contracts in AS2124:1992.
Undertaking the role of Superintendent under AS2124:1992 requirements to supervise civil and electrical construction contractors in the execution of the works required.
Verification of construction activities to enable assessment and recommendation of contractor progress claims
Assessment of variations to construction and electrical contracts requested by contractor or initiated throughout construction phase
Site inspections and regular meetings with contractors
Liaison with other consultants/utilities as required

My recent personal experience was very positive - Shaun Turnbull prepared a site survey required for a DA to be lodged with PlanSA and his attention to detail and accuracy was exceptional. I worked with Shaun on site in Ashton to find survey pegs on a hilly and "overgrown" area adjacent a very old fence line to prepare for the site survey to locate a precise site for a new agricultural shed. Shaun's patience and determination were a credit to him. This was not the first experience with Sawley Lock O'Callaghan - Damian Brogden had previously assisted me to re-align boundaries on a residential allotment at Cheltenham - delivering the same high quality work underpinned by attention to detail and accuracy.

When I first called I wasn’t too sure as the person seemed a little uninterested but they provided a fast quote at a reasonable cost and were able to schedule the job to be completed in 1 week where other places I called were much more costly and wouldn’t be able to do the job for at least 6 weeks. All details, documents and invoices were sent through within the same day of the job being completed. Quite happy overall with the service. Would recommend.
